The Hotel la Brace is situated on the Ionian coast, land of ancient traditions, in the locality of Punta delle Castella, on the promontory that extends into the Gulf of Squillace, with an ancient Castle in the sea, the symbol of the Region of Calabria. There are settlements that date back to the period of the Great Charter (VI cent. BC) and to the Roman one (II-I cent. BC).

Running along the provincial road 107, after few kilometres, you will get to the green panorama of the Sila. Along this road, it is interesting to visit the ancient town of Santa Severina, Acerentia and the Ampollino park of Cotronei. Further more, from our coast it is also possible to go to the Eolie Islands or to the city of Reggio Calabria, where, in the National Museum, are preserved the famous Bronzi di Riace.
